Our objective is for you to be a self-sufficient practitioner of the sport. One who rides safely and enjoys themselves. The courses we offer expect to provide you with a progressive evolution, without skipping any step along the way.
All necessary material is included in each course:
Different sized kites
Board
Harness
Wetsuit
Radio Helmet
Life jacket
Rescue boat (in case of emergency)
We recommend you bring a hat, sunglasses, and sun protection lotion.
It is up to the school to decide if the course is carried out or not, the criteria being safety and proper development of the lessons.
If any lesson is canceled it will be put off to the following day or until the circumstances permit.
KITE BASICS
A one day, four hour course on the beach. Basic handling of the kite. Ideal for those who want to get their first taste of the sport.
INITIATION
Day one
Evaluate wind directions and wind speed. Weather fundamentals.
Learn the necessary area for flying the kite safely.
Equipment set up.
Basic terminology.
Wind Window, Flying lines, Harness, Body dragging, etc.
Day two
First contact with the board.
Preparation. Getting ready in the water.
Water start (getting up on the board). First attempts at riding.
ADVANCE
Beam reach
Balance
Riding upwind
Trimming the lines
Nuestro objetivo es que seas un practicante autónomo. Que navegues con seguridad para ti y para los demás, y que te diviertas. Te ofrecemos unos cursos donde tu evolución va a ser de manera progresiva, sin saltar ningún paso.
Los cursos incluyen todo lo necesario para la práctica de este deporte:
Cometas de distintas medidas
Tabla
Arnés
Neopreno
Radio casco
Chaleco de flotabilidad
Barco de rescate (si fuera necesario)
Te recomendamos que traigas gorra, gafas de sol y crema solar
La escuela es la que decide si el curso se lleva a cabo o no. Sus criterios son la seguridad y el buen desarrollo de las clases.
Si se anula algún curso, se aplazara para el día siguiente o hasta que pueda hacerse.
BAUTISMO
Curso de un día en la playa (cuatro horas).Manejo básico de la cometa.
Ideal para aquellos que quieren tener una primera toma de contacto.
CURSO DE INICIACION
Primer día
Apreciar sentido y fuerza del viento Meteorología básica
Conocer la zona necesaria para volar la cometa con seguridad
Montaje del material
Terminología base
Ventana de vuelo. Pilotaje fluido.2 ,4 líneas. Arnés.
Bodydrag (arrastrar el cuerpo por el agua)
Segundo dia
Primer contacto con la tabla
Preparación.puesta en el agua del conjunto.
Waterstart (ponerse de pie en la tabla). Primeros intentos de navegación
PERFECCIONAMIENTO
Navegación al largo.
Equilibrio.
Remontar al viento.
Ceñir.
